| Our after-school training workshops help
students to recognize their leadership potential, articulate their
goals, develop their own personal leadership skills, and broaden their
understanding of ethics and responsibility. The program serves the
needs of youth in grades 5 through 12. Students experience workshops
conducted by a collaboration of community professionals that have
various leadership backgrounds in education, business, politics, youth
services and cultural arts.
The after-school and summer workshop
experience helps to build skills that schools are not able to address
during regular class hours. The students are engaged in the empowering
process of creating positive change in their lives through workshops
that challenge them to achieve success.
The CHOICES Leadership program provides a
fun, highly supportive and risk-free environment that promotes human
understanding and open communication. Students gain the ability to
tackle any challenge that comes their way. The program operates from
Choices Leadership Academy a college preparatory middle school for
grades 5 thru 8.
